John Francis Sinnott (b.1837), a son of John Sinnott and Mary Armstrong, immigrated from Ireland to Philadelphia in 1854, and married Annie Eliza Rogers in 1863. He and his wife were parents of the author. Also traced are earlier Sinnott individuals and families immigrating from Ireland to the United States from the early 1600s on.
