Description
John David Greer (1761-1842) served in the Revolutionary War, and in 1782 married Sarah Hunt at Edgefield District, South Carolina. They settled in Troupe County, Georgia. Nathaniel Hunt Greer (1802-1855), a son, married Ann Terry Roberts, and lived for a time in Alabama, moving in 1837 to Washington County, Texas.
