"Jacob Wendling was born before 1740 in Upper Rhine River, Baden, Germany? Died after 1816 in Montour/Northumberland/Columbia Co., Pa."--P. 7-1. In 1765, Jacob Wendling (Wandling) and his wife, Anna Maria settled in Warren County, New Jersey and were among the first settlers in Brasscastle.
