"In March 1918, all persons aged 18 years and older were required to sign a card showing their Declaration of Loyalty to the United States. This included both men and women, not in the service. Statements included name, residence, place and date of birth, occupation, if not employed--why not, by whom employed, and citizenship"--3rd prelim. p.

The church was once known as a Methodist Episcopal Church.
Asbury and Point Pleasant were part of the Roseville Circuit. These locations were probably Warren County towns. Neither location exists as a town any longer.
The town of Swan Creek in Warren County was also part of the circuit.
