James Ross was born in about 1706 in Ireland. His father was Frances Ross. He married Catherine McCullough in about 1730. They had seven children. James died in Frederick County, Virginia in 1751. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in South Carolina.

Moses and Hugh White were probably brothers. They emigrated from Ireland and settled in Pennsylvania in about 1718. Moses died in Bucks County, Pennsylvania in 1735. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Description
Matthew Patton, born ca. 1700-05, probably in Ulster (northern Ireland), emigrated to Pennsylvania. He received several Royal land grants from the Province of North Carolina for property then situated in Anson County, North Carolina. He married Elizabeth (surname unknown).
