Description
The Union Church of Hardy County was organized ca. 1825 and was divided ca. 1837 into three church. One of these was called Mount Zion but the name was later changed to Petersburg.
Record indicates there are documents for this church and the Union Church included with the records of Moorefield Presbyterian Church, Moorefield, West Virginia.

Description
The church was founded ca. 1745 and was part of the Tuscarora Church and later with the Falling Waters Church. It was first called Back Creek and later Stone Church. In 1896 it became Tomahawk Church but the organization date is unknown. It was reorganized in 1829 and again in 1892.

The congregation has existed since 1740 as Bullskin congregation or Hopewell Church. A church was built in Smithfield ca. 1798 and the name was changed to Smithfield Church in 1819. It was dissolved in 1933.

Description
In 1812 the Springfield, Romney and Capon congregations were organized into an united congregation called Mount Bethel. This church was divided in 1833 into 5 churches. One was called Mountain or Romney Church but the name was changed to Mt. Bethel in 1841. The church declined during the 1960's and was dissolved in 1966.

Description
The church existed as early as 1767 under the name of Patterson Creek Church and was reorganized in 1834. The church may also be known as Eusebia or Frankfort. Frankfort changed to Alaska in 1881 and Alaska changed to Fort Ashby in 1932. Some of the records indicate Patterson Creek Church had three chief places of worship: Eusebia, Frankfort and Burlington. It was dissolved in 1981.
