Description
Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of Peter Degenstein. He was born in 1766 in Waldimchelbach, Germany. He married Ann Katherina Muller in 1796. She was born in 1764 in Weinheim, Germany. The family moved to South Russia in 1808. They were the parents of one son. Some of their descendants immigrated to the United States starting in 1902. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Dakota, Minnesota and Alberta.
Description
Jakob Hegele was born in the vicinity of Fortlibre, Alsace. He married Magdalena. They immigrated to South Russia in 1808. Descendants immigrated to America around 1900 and married into the Degenstein family.
