Description
Ancestors and descendants of Albert Harvey, who married Alis Alsa, or Elsy Brewer. Albert and Alis were married as free black persons in Halifax County, North Carolina in 1839. They later moved from North Carolina to Indianapolis. Their children included Jesse, Gideon, William, Holden, Sarah A., Frances, Rebecca, Nancy, Georgiann or Georgie Ann, Charles, Robert and Amanda. Charles moved to Seattle, Washington in 1887. Descendants also live in Illinois, Ohio, California, Colorado, Oregon and Nevada. .
