John Joiner married twice, the name of his first wife is unknown. "He married a second time to a widow whose name was Elizabeth who had a daughter named Elizabeth."--P. 18. They moved suddenly from their previous residence to Nash County, North Carolina in 1782. "He just as abruptly disappeared in 1815."--P. 18. Descendants lived in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Utah, New York, Florida and elsewhere. Some descendants became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
