Description
Samuel Cooksey was born before 1673. His second wife was Christian Tennis, daughter of Justinian Tennis or Tennison and Katherine Gresham. They had one son, William Cooksey. Descendant James B. Cooksey was born in about 1810. He married Biddy S. Malone, daughter of Peter Malone and Mary Whayland, in about 1832 in Somerset (now Wicomico) County, Maryland. They had eight children. Descendants and relatives listed lived mainly in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
