Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Strange (and variant spellings) families who came to America from the 1600-1800's mainly from England, France, Germany, Ireland, and Scotland. Some allied families also came from England, Ireland and Sweden. Immigrant ancestors settled in Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island and Virginia in the 1600's. In the 1700's, others settled in Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, and North Carolina. During the 1800's, some also migrated into New Brunswick, Alabama, California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Later descendants also lived in Alaska, Florida, Idaho, Nevada, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and elsewhere.
