Maps were also verified by J.B. Baylor who was an assistant with the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey. The projections (Clarke) for the Northumberland County maps were by C.H. Deetz and traced by Morrie Co.

These maps seem to be preliminary maps being prepared for publication, probably by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey in 1894.
