Microfilm of photocopy of typescript (44 leaves) at New Hampton, Iowa.
Description
John Brown (d.1686) was an early settler of Hampton, New Hampshire. He married Sarah (unknown surname). They farmed in the area of Hampton and raised eight children: Sarah, John, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Jacob, Mary, Thomas and Stephen. He deeded his property to his children and left no will. All four sons served in the Indian Wars. His son Benjamin (1647-1736) inherited the farm. Benjamin was the father of eight children. Family members lived in the part of Hampton which became Seabrook, New Hampshire. Family members also lived at North Hampton and Kennsington.
