Description
John Carter, son of John Carter and Elizabeth, lived in Caroline County, Virginia. He married Levinia Rumbly, daughter of Jacob Rumbly and Ann Edger, 18 January 1792. They had six children. He married Ann Jenifer Taylor (1776-1835), daughter of Jenifer S. Taylor and Elizabeth Parren, 5 February 1807. They had six children.
