Description
"This began as a record of the Baker and Bassett families. It quickly became apparent why almost everyone in Providence was called "cousin" and the only way to understand how people were related was to write down names of members of other families, too." James Baker and his family moved from Bertie County, North Carolina to Christian County, Kentucky soon after 1800, and later moved to Henderson (later Webster) County, Kentucky. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana, Virginia, Missouri and elsewhere.
