Description
Periodical for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Jordan families who came mainly from England and Ireland. Some immigrated ca. 1635 to Surrey County, Virginia, such as George Jordan (d. 1678) and his wife Alice Myles Jordan. In the 1700's, some also settled Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. During the 1800's, some families moved to Alabama, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Kentucky, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Later descendants also lived in Alaska, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and elsewhere.
