Description
Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Benefiel (and variant spellings) families who settled in Kentucky and Ohio in the 1700s. Some immigrant ancestors are: James Benefiel, who came to America in 1765; Robert Benefiel, who came in 1792; and George Eli Benefiel (1759-1832) who married Mary Buchanan in 1787, and later lived in Pennsylvania. During the 1800s, some Benefiels moved to Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington. Later descendants and relatives also lived in British Columbia (Canada), the British West Indies, China, Germany, Guatemala, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, South Africa, and in Alaska, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma Territory, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and elsewhere.
