Description
Judah Medbury Brown was born 23 August 1781 in Norwich, New London, Connecticut. His parents were Judah Brown (1751-1872) and Jemina Gates (ca. 1750-after 1810). He married Mehitable Gilman, daughter of Joshua Gilman and Tabitha Brown, 22 April 1803 in Williamstown, Vermont. They had seven children. Mehitable was born 31 July 1783 in Alstead, New Hampshire and died 18 April 1858 in Hindsburg, Murray, Orleans, New York. Judah died 22 March 1862 in Gaines, Orleans, New York. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Connecticut, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont and Michigan.
