Description
Autobiography and life history of Charles Ramsden Bailey (1839-1910), a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who immigrated in 1855 with his mother and her other children from England to Logan, Utah. He married four times and moved to Wellsville, Utah. His widowed mother, Ellen Jane (Robbins) Bailey, had married his father, Charles Ramsden Sr., in 1838--and left him in 1852 because of mistreatment. Their son, Charles (1839- 1910), took the surname of Bailey after he left England with his mother and two half-sisters. Includes family history and genealogy of descendants and relatives, living in Utah, Idaho, California, Washington and elsewhere.
