Description
Royal Adams Keith was born 1809 in Grafton, Massachusetts. His parents were Royal Keith (1769-1857) and Deborah Adams (1777-1857). He married Lydia Dexter Fisher (b. 1820), daughter of John Fisher Jr. and Abigail Newell, 2 September 1840. They had eight children. Royal died in Grafton 27 August 1882. Ancestors and descendants lived mainly in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and Colorado.
Description
Immigrant ancestor Reverend James Keith came from Scotland to Bridgewater Massachusetts in 1662 and was pastor there until his death 23 July 1719. Rev. Keith married Susanna Edson, daughter of Deacon Samuel Edson, 3 May 1668. She died 16 October 1705. They had nine children.
