Description
Daniel Dana Tappan (1798-1890) was a son of Samuel Tappan and his wife, Amelia. Daniel married Catherine Elizabeth Rouslette Whidden in 1823, and became a minister in Maine, then New Hampshire, and then Massachusetts. After retirement, he lived in Topsfield, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, California and elsewhere.
