Manuscript collection (ca. 2600 leaves) compiled and donated between 1984-1987 by Larry Anhalt, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Description
Karl Adam Christian Anhalt, a widower, emigrated in 1881 from Germany to Sibley County, Minnesota to join a married sister who had emigrated earlier as the wife of Heinrich Eckhart. Karl married again in 1883, and had his three children emigrated to join them. Descendants and relatives lived in Minnesota, South Dakota and elsewhere. Includes some of their ancestors and descendants in Germany.
