Main focus is on (but not limited to) the ancestors, descendants, and allied families of Daniel Boone (1734-1820), a famous American frontier pioneer and colonial leader. Some settled in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia in the 1600's. In the 1700's, some settled in Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Vermont. During the 1800's, some migrated to Ontario and Saskatchewan (Canada), and to California, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Ohio. Later descendants and relatives also lived in Alberta (Canada), in Chile, in China, in the Dominican Republic, in England, in Germany, in Holland, in Mexico, in Nicaragua, in Peru, in Puerto Rico, in Spain, in the Virgin Islands, and throughout the United States, and elsewhere.
