Description
The immigrant ancestor of this family was Nicholas Boogher, who born in 1680 in Germany. He came over on the "Friendship" in 1727 and settled in Pennsylvania. Traces the descendants of his grandson, Bartholomew Booher, who was living in Frederick County, Maryland in 1757. His will was probated in Frederick County on May 1, 1792. His widow Margaret died 1796. They had fourteen children. Descendants live in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas, Indiana, Mississippi and elsewhere.
