Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Davis (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. Some settled in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Virginia in the 1600's. In the 1700's, some settled in Quebec (Canada), and to Connecticut, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North and South Carolina, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, and West Virginia. During the 1800's, some moved to Mexico, and to Alabama, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Texas, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin. Some have African American bloodlines. Some have Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, Seminole, and other American Indian bloodlines. Later descendants also lived in Mexico, Peru, and in Arizona, Colorado, the Indian Territory, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and elsewhere.
