Description
Martin Seidner was born at Strusbergh, Germany, in 1733, the son of Christople Seidner. He and his wife, Margaret Mira Schotte, immigrated to America in 1754 and settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. They had fourteen children, 1754-1777. The family migrated to Frederick County, Maryland, ca. 1762, to Berkeley County, Virginia (now West Virginia), in 1791, and to Fayette County, Kentucky, in 1796. He died in Fayette County in 1806. Descendants lived in Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, and elsewhere.
