Description
Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Rich families who came mainly from England, France, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Scotland, and Switzerland. Some immigrated to Barbados, Bermuda, and Jamaica (West Indies), and to Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts (especially Wellfleet and Truro), New Hampshire, and South Carolina in the 1600s. In the 1700s, some settled in Kentucky, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Virginia. During the 1800s, some moved to New Brunswick (Canada), and to Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. Later descendants also lived in Ontario (Canada), Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mexico, and in Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Washington, Washington D.C., and elsewhere. Information was extracted from birth records, census records, death records, directories, family histories, letters, marriage records, military records, ships records, and other sources. Dates covered are the 1600s to the present.
