Description
Reuben Rose (1819-1886), who married Hannah Janes/Jeanes/Jeans (1821- 1880) in 1843, was the son of Benjamin and Sarah Fish Rose. In 1849, Reuben immigrated with Hannah and two children to South Australia where seven more children were born. Descendants lived in Glen Osmond, Macclesfield, Batunga, Mootna and elsewhere in South Australia. Includes family history and genealogical data about the Rose family in England, Scotland and elsewhere to 1066 A.D.
