Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Freeman (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England and Ireland. Some immigrated to Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Jersey in the 1600's. In the 1700's, some settled in Ontario (Canada), and in Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia. During the 1800's, some moved to Quebec (Canada), and to Alabama, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Some married into the Choctaw Indian Nation, and lived in the Indian Territory. Later descendants also lived in Cuba, South America, Spain, and in Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and elsewhere.
