Description
John Frederick Kirshof (d.ca.1830), probably the son of a German immigrant, married widow Catherine (Wacker) Bowman in 1782 in Shenandoah County, Virginia and (after her death) married Barbara Koontz in 1795. Descendants lived in Virginia, Ohio, Illinois, California, Indiana, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Colorado, Maryland, West Virginia, Iowa, Tennessee, Deleware, Texas and elsewhere.
