Description
James Death (1720-1797) and his brothers, William and John, emigrated from England and settled in Baltimore (now Harford) County, Maryland, in 1742. He married Sophia Simmons (1716-1795) in 1746. They had five children, 1748-1762. The family migrated to Fayette County, Pennsylvania, in 1777, with his brothers' families. James and Sophia Death died in Fayette County. Descendants listed lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Minnesota, and elsewhere. Most descendants spelled their name Dearth.
Description
Albert Elmer Campbell (1875-1941) of Cranberry, Ohio, son of Isaac A. Campbell (1843-1915) and Isabelle Cook Campbell (1847-1923), and Emma Estelle Laibe (1881-1967) of Columbus Grove, Ohio, daughter of Edward J. Laibe (1860-1846) and Mary Basingter Laibe (1862-1945), were married in 1901. They had nine children, 1901-1919, born in Allen and Putnam Counties, Ohio. Descendants lived in Ohio and elsewhere.
Description
Peter Weaver (1766-1851) emigrated from Germany to America, probably in 1787. According to family tradition, he lived awhile in Pennsylvania, then migrated to Maryland, where he married Elizabeth Whitmer (1774-1863). They were living in Rockingham County, Virginia, by 1780. They had three sons, 1800-1811, born in Virginia. Peter and Elizabeth Weaver are buried in Smith Cemetery, Lima, Ohio. Descendants listed lived in Ohio, Missouri, Virginia, Kansas, and elsewhere.
