William Black (1727-1820) immigrated from Scotland to Amherst, Nova Scotia in 1774/1775, and married twice. Descendants and relatives lived in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to New York and elsewhere in the United States.
