Henry Stephenson was born in 1803 in South Carolina. He married Sarah Calton (1812-1859), daughter of Joel Calton and Julia Bailey, in about 1829 in Tennessee. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Tennessee, Missouri and Texas.
