Library has re-lettered these books as v. 1, v. 2, and v. 3. The author called them v. 1, edition 1 and v. 1, edition 2 and v. 1, edition 3--but analysis of the actual volumes indicates each contains differing yet consecutive material (i.e., the three are separate volumes of continuing data, not separate editions of the same data). However there is a 1973 revision (the equivalent of an edition 2) of v. 2 carried on another record, as noted below.

Description
James Bishop (fl.1634-1648) immigrated about 1634/1635 from England to settle in what became New Haven, Connecticut during or before 1648. Descendants and relatives lived throughout the United States, chiefly in New England, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and elsewhere.
