Description
Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Strickland (and variant spellings) families in who came mainly from England, Ireland, and Switzerland. Some immigrated to Connecticut and Virginia in the 1600's. In the 1700's, some settled in Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Tennessee. During the 1800's, some moved to British Columbia (Canada), Australia, New Zealand, and to Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, the Indian Territory, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Texas, Vermont, and West Virginia. Later descendants also lived in Arizona, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington, and elsewhere. Some have Cherokee, Chickasaw, and Choctaw Indian bloodlines. Some have African American bloodlines.
