Description
David Thomson Sr. (1800-1871/1880) married Agnes Bryden about 1826, and emigrated in 1866 from Scotland to Ransom, LaSalle County, Illinois. They brought the rest of their family with them to join three sons who had emigrated in 1853, and moved to LaSalle County between 1853 and 1862. Descendants and relatives lived in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Manitoba in Canada, and their progeny lived in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and elsewhere.
