Description
Charles Dixon, Sr. (1730-1817) emigrated from England to Nova Scotia in 1772, and settled at Sackville, New Brunswick in 1773. Descendants and relatives lived in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to New England, and their progeny lived in New England, New York and elsewhere. Some descendants became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and immigrated to Utah (via a sea voyage to New Orleans, then riverboat passage upstream, then wagon train to Utah).
