Schumacher, Lutheran pastor, served congregations in BERKS COUNTY: Trinity Lutheran at Reading (1754-1755, 1758); Alsace Church in Alsace Township (1754-1758); Schwarzwald Church in Exeter Township (1754-1758); St. Paul's in Windsor Township (1754-1757, 1760-1761, 1764-1765, 1771-1775); Jerusalem or Allemangel (1755-1770) and New Allemangel or Friedens (1770-1777), both in Albany Township; Bern Church in Bern Township (1755-1757); Zion or Northkill in Upper Tulpehocken Township (1756-1758); New Jerusalem or Dunkel's or Ontelauncee in Greenwich Township (1761-1762, 1764-1765); St. Michael's in Tilden Township (1771-1773). Visited, but not a pastor of St. John's or Maxatawny at Kutztown (1756, 1758, 1766-1767, 1770); Oley Hills (1756-1760, 1771-1772); Tulpehocken near Stouchsburg (1757-1758); Rosenthal near Eckville (1763); and Long Swamp in Longswamp Township (1768).
