Description
Henry Newby, son of Henry Newby, was born in about 1675/1680 near Liverpool, England. He came to America in about 1696 as in indentured servant. He married Mary Whalley, daughter of James Whaley. They had seven children. He died in 1741 in White Chapel Parish, Lancaster County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico and California.
