Description
Thomas Wright was born in Essex, England, in 1610, the son of John and Grace Wright. He immigrated to America with his five children and settled first at Watertown, Massachusetts. He moved to Wethersfield, Connecticut, ca. 1639. He died there in 1670. His descendant, Samuel Wright, son of Samuel and Abigail Wright, was born in 1722 at Wethersfield, Connecticut. He and his wife, Mary, had nine children, 1749-1765. He and his second wife, Mehitable, had four children, 1769-1780. He died at Lenox, Massachusetts, in 1789. Descendants lived in Massachusetts, Vermont, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and elsewhere.
