Description
Jean Bodin (1645-1694/1695), a Huguenot, immigrated from France to England (where he was naturalized) and then to Staten Island, New York about 1682. Cornelius Bodine (1755-1820), direct descendant in the fifth generation, served in the Revolutionary War, moving from New Jersey to land near Hughesville, Pennsylvania and then to land near Ovid, New York. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
