Description
Thomas Pierson and his wife, Elizabeth, Quakers, were received in the Abinton Meeting (Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania) from the Guisborrrough Meeting, Yorkshire, England, in 1731. They were received in the Guilford County, North Carolina Center Meeting in 1755. Their descendant, Charles Con Pierson, was born in Grove Township, Reno County, Kansas, the youngest child of Gilbert and Junietta Pierson. He married Isabel (Belle) Cole in 1910. They had seven children, 1912-1930, all but the second child born at Hutchinson, Kansas. The second child was born on a visit to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Descendants listed lived in Kansas, Texas, and elsewhere.
