Description
Jesse Coffey (1781-1850), son of Ashborn Coffey and Molly Nightengale and grandson of William Coffee, married Tabitha Riffe, and lived in Lincoln County, Kentucky. Their eldest daughter, Polly, married Jeremiah Vardaman in 1829. Jeremiah was a direct descendant of John Vardaman, who emigrated from Sweden in 1720-1725. Descendants lived in Kentucky, Texas and elsewhere.
