Description
Lawrence Copeland (ca.1599-1699) immigrated from England to Braintree, Massachusetts, married Lydia Townsend in 1651, and moved to Quincy, Massachusetts. Albert Henry Copeland (1830-1915)--direct descendant in the seventh generation--married Frances Louisa Moseley in 1855, and in 1868 moved from Vermont to Chenoa, Illinois. Descendants and relatives lived in Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Texas, California and elsewhere.
