Description
Newsletter for the interchange and collection of genealogical and family history data about Roskelley individuals and families within the United States. Chiefly is concerned with the ancestry and descendants of Samuel Roskelley (b.1837), a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who immigrated from England to Salt Lake City in 1853. He married Rebecca Hendricks in 1858, and moved to Cache Valley, Utah in 1860. Descendants and relatives lived in Utah, Idaho and elsewhere, and some immigrated to Alberta in Canada. Includes announcements and reports of reunions of the Roskelley Family Organization (with headquarters at Smithfield, Utah). The interspersed supplements are chiefly biographical sketches of significant Latter-day Saint Roskelley individuals.
