Description
Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Morford (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England, France, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. In the 1600s, some immigrated to Maryland and New Jersey. In the 1700s, some also settled in Kentucky, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. During the 1800s, some moved to British Columbia, Nova Scotia, and Ontario (Canada), and to Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma (some in Cherokee Nation Indian Territory), Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Later descendants also lived in Alberta (Canada), and in Alaska, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Washington D.C., and elsewhere. Some adoptions are noted. Some had Cherokee Indian bloodlines. Some had African American bloodlines. Mentions places named Morford, Morfordsville, and others. Most issues are also available as PDF files on several Web sites.
