Johannes Schenk (1656-1748) married Maria Magdalena de Haes, and they immigrated in 1683 from Holland to Bushwick, Long Island, New York. Descendants (chiefly spelling the surname Schenck) and relatives lived in New York, New Jersey, Oregon and elsewhere.
