Description
Ancestors and descendants of John Georg Oberdorf (1729-1777), who was born in Dietenhan, Germany, a son of John Georg and Anna Margaretha Wolz Oberdorf. He married Catherine Osais (d. 1800) in 1757. She was also born in Germany. John Georg had lived in Philadelphia a short while before he moved to Stoney Point, Rockland Twp., Berks Co., Pennsylvania. He purchased a small farm there and met his wife Catherine there. Members of this family live in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, West Virginia and elsewhere.
