Description
Descendants of Thomas Beard (Baird) (1777-1863), who married Martha McKee (1777-1854) 1799. He was a son of John and Mary Beard (Baird) of Scotch-Irish descent. He came to Scrubgrass settlement in 1796. This book contains the descendants of five of their nine children, who had children of their own. They were: James Baird, Elizabeth Baird Coulter, Thomas Beard, Jr., William Beard, and Hugh Baird. Descendants live in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kansas, Illinois, Oregon, Maryland, Washington, California and elsewhere.
