Some focus is on (but not limited to) the family of Israel Chamberlain, who lived in Vermont in 1793. Some Chamberlains immigrated to Barbados (West Indies), and to Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island in the 1600's. In the 1700's, some settled in New Brunswick (Canada), and in New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, and Virginia. During the 1800's, some moved to Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec (Canada), Australia, Cuba, France, and to Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Washington D.C., West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Later descendants and relatives also lived in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan (Canada), England, and in Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, North Dakota, Wyoming, and elsewhere.
